Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account info: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the basic profile info Google provides (name, email).
- Resume data: the resume file you upload, and the parsed profile (contact details, work history, education, skills, certifications) extracted from it.
- Generation history: job listings you've scanned and the tailored resumes/cover letters generated for them.
- Purchase records: which credit packs you've bought and when. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach Auqly's servers.
How it's used
Your resume and job listing data is sent to OpenAI's API to generate tailored resumes and cover letters, and is not used by Auqly for any purpose beyond providing that feature. Your email is used for account access and, if you contact us, to respond to you.
Who we share data with
- OpenAI: processes your resume and job listing text to generate tailored documents.
- Stripe: processes credit pack payments; Auqly never sees your card details.
- Supabase: hosts our database, file storage, and backend functions.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your controls
You can delete your account and everything tied to it (profile, resumes, generation history) at any time from the extension's Settings page. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Data Protection Officer
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), we've appointed a Data Protection Officer to handle data protection queries, complaints, and requests (including data access, correction, or deletion requests). You can reach our Data Protection Officer at dpo@auqly.com.
